MOUNTAINEER MEADOWS FARM
Mountaineer Meadows Farm is located in Mason County, WV with 100 cattle.
Mountaineer Meadows began in 2011 when Neil and Blair Bumgarner moved back to Mason County WV after working around the eastern United States after graduating from WVU. Neil grew up on a cattle farm in Elizabeth WV, and Blair grew up in Point Pleasant WV but spent much of her youth on her grandmother’s farm in Morgantown. Mountaineer Meadows began with 11 heifers (young cows that haven’t had a baby) being purchased in October of 2011. The operation quickly grew to 100 cows and leased pastures around Mason County.
Neil and Blair have two little farm boys, Will (9) and Elliot (6). Neil works in the beef business as Director of Sales for Crystalyx Supplements and Blair is a teacher at an elementary school in Mason County.
