We’re strengthening communities by creating a beneficial program for beef farmers. All our beef farmers are pre-approved for humane handling practices and all are Beef Quality Assurance certified. The Mountain State Ground Beef program helps to put more revenue in beef farmers pockets that they will spend in their local communities.
CREATING NEW MARKETS FOR WEST VIRGINIA FARMERS
Farming is tough. Our program is designed to help beef farmers create new revenues. Appalachian Abattoir is proud to partner with West Virginia Cattlemen’s Association to create a program that benefits cattlemen in West Virginia.
PROVIDING ACCESS TO LOCAL MEAT
Interest in local meat is rising rapidly. More people than ever, especially in Appalachia, are interested in locally-raised meat. Mountain State Ground Beef will be available in several large and regional grocery stores in West Virginia.
